VACANCY DETAILS

Board of Apprenticeship Training, Northern Region (Kanpur), sponsored by Ministry of H.R.D. Govt. of India, had introduced in the year 1999 a 12-month Apprenticeship Training Programme in the Senior Architect’s Office, Panjab University, Chandigarh. The new session will be operative from 1st October-2025 up to 30th September-2026, offering 12 months training as per the Apprentices Act-1961 for the following positions: –

• Training Duration of the Apprenticeship : 12 Months
• Position offered : Apprentice Trainee in Architecture (4 seats)
• Stipend : Rs.8,000/- p.m. (for 12 Months)
• Qualifications: 3-Year Diploma in Architectural Assistantship

Interested candidates who have already passed out/going to appear in the final year examination of 3-year Diploma in Architectural Assistantship from the Recognized Institute/any State Board of Technical Education in India may contact the office of the undersigned for application form and other information on any working day between 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. In case of any query the candidates may contact on phone nos. 7529837979, 9501002735.

The last date for the submission of applications (along with photocopies of the examination passed) is 21st July- 2025 up to 4:30 p.m. The list of eligible candidates will be displayed on the Notice Board of Architect Office, Panjab University, Chandigarh by 31st July -2025.
The Interview for the shortlisted candidates shall be conducted on 21st August -2025 at 10:30 a.m. in the Architect Office, Panjab University, Sector-14, Chandigarh.

Note: The candidate are required to bring original certificates/portfolio of the drawings / drafting jobs, if any, on the date of test/ interview.
* As per the Apprentices Act-1961 conveyed by B.O.A.T., (N.R.) Kanpur, The apprenticeship Training is for fresher’s only. Those who passed the course before three years are not eligible for apprenticeship training. In other words the gap between the date of declaration of results and date of recruitment should not be more than three years
