SVP / VP – Investment Banking (Equity)
Location: Mumbai
Position Overview
The firm is seeking a seasoned professional for the role of Senior Vice President / Vice President – Investment Banking (Equity). The ideal candidate will drive deal origination and execution across M&A, IPO, Private Equity, and Capital Markets, with a proven track record of building senior-level corporate relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Originate and execute deals across M&A, IPO, PE, and Capital Markets products.
- Maintain and grow senior-level relationships within targeted corporate segments.
- Manage the full deal-making process from origination to closure.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams while ensuring high-quality client communication.
- Deliver under pressure and ensure timely completion of transactions.
Required Skills
- Demonstrated success in originating and managing investment banking deals.
- Deep familiarity with all phases of the deal process.
- Strong client relationship management and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as in collaborative environments.
- Professional demeanor and follow-through on all deliverables.
Qualifications
- Graduate degree required; MBA, CFA, CA, or equivalent preferred (India/overseas).
- Minimum 10 years of relevant investment banking experience.
Compensation
- Competitive – not a limiting factor for the right candidate; negotiable case-by-case.
