Assam State School Education Board (ASSEB)
Until 2024, the Board of Secondary Education, Assam (SEBA) was responsible for conducting the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) Examination, under the aegis of the Government of Assam.
However, beginning in 2025, the responsibility has been officially transitioned to the newly formed Assam State School Education Board (ASSEB), Division – I. The HSLC Examination 2025 was successfully conducted by ASSEB from 15th February 2025 to 3rd March 2025.
