Konkan Railway Corporation Limited (KRCL), a Public Sector Undertaking under the Ministry of Railways having its Corporate Office at CBD Belapur, Navi Mumbai, invites applications for the following posts on fixed term contract basis in Mechanical / Projects Department for initial period of one year.

A)
(I) Age:
Candidates should not be more than prescribed age as on 01/06/2025 (see Annexures).

• Age relaxation: 3 years for OBC(NCL), 5 years for SC/ST.
• Ex-servicemen age relaxation at discretion.

(II) Candidates applying for SC/ST/OBC-NCL/EWS must attach valid caste/EWS certificate in Central Govt. format.
Certificate not indicating validity will not be accepted.

Candidates fulfilling criteria may report directly for walk-in interview with:

• One application in prescribed format (Annexure A)
• Original certificates
• One set of self-attested copies (age proof, qualification, experience, caste, etc.)

Eligibility

Technician (Welder)

1. Name of Post: Technician (Welder)
2. Minimum Qualification Required: ITI passed with Welding Trade
3. Essential: ITI passed in Welding Trade (full time course) from Govt recognized ITI
4. Desirable: –
5. Work Experience Required, if any: Experience in MIG/MAG welding, TIG / MIG will be given preference
6. Upper Age Limit: 30 years as on 01/06/2025
7. Place of Posting and HQ: Vadodara and as per requirement of KRCL all over India
8. Period of Contract:
   • One year and can be extended as per requirement of KRCL
   • KRCL shall have the right to terminate if performance of the candidate is found not satisfactory during the period of contract

Technician (Fitter)

1. Name of Post: Technician (Fitter)
2. Minimum Qualification Required: ITI passed with Fitter Trade
3. Essential: ITI passed in Fitter Trade (full time course) from Govt recognized ITI
4. Desirable: –
5. Work Experience Required, if any: Work experience from Railway workshop will be given preference
6. Upper Age Limit: 30 years as on 01/06/2025
7. Place of Posting and HQ: Vadodara and as per requirement of KRCL all over India
8. Period of Contract:
   • One year and can be extended as per requirement of KRCL
   • KRCL shall have the right to terminate if performance of the candidate is found not satisfactory during the period of contract

After Preliminary Screening Only provisionally eligible candidates will be interviewed.

Selection Process:

1. Candidates must register at the venue and time.
   • Group Discussion (GD) or other eliminations may be conducted.
2. Candidates will be interviewed by a Nominated Committee.
   • Merit list will be prepared based on interview, qualification, and experience.
3. Decision of KRCL’s Nominated Committee will be final and binding.
