| Eligibility | – Must possess full-time regular qualification (degree/diploma/certificate) in relevant trade from Govt. recognized institute/university. – Passed final examination within two years from closing date (07.10.2023 to 06.10.2025). – Medically fit as per Apprentice Act, 1961. – Minimum age: 18 years. – Not eligible: Awaiting final results, job experience >1 year, already undergone apprenticeship elsewhere, part-time/distance education/online mode. – Relevant trades: – ITI (Electrician): Full-time ITI Electrician – Diploma (Electrical/Civil): 3-year diploma in relevant branch – Graduate (Electrical/Civil/Electronics/Telecom): 4-year engineering degree in relevant branch – HR Executive: MBA (HR) / PG Diploma in Personnel Management, 2 years full time – CSR Executive: MSW/ Master’s in Rural Development/Management, 2 years full time – PR Assistant: Bachelor of Mass Communication/Journalism (3-year full time) – Rajbhasha Assistant: BA (Hindi) with English proficiency |
| Salary / Pay Scale | – ITI (Electrician): ₹13,500/month – Diploma Apprentices: ₹15,000/month – Graduate Apprentices/Executives: ₹17,500/month – PR Assistant/Rajbhasha Assistant: ₹17,500/month – Additional ₹2,500/month if company accommodation is not provided – DBT Scheme: ₹4,000 (Diploma), ₹4,500 (Graduate/Executive)—Direct Benefit Transfer, Govt of India NATS scheme |
| General Instruction | – Indian citizen, aged 18+ years. – Only one application per candidate—multiple applications/trades/regions will be rejected. – No claim for job after apprenticeship. – Fulfilling eligibility is mandatory. Incomplete or inaccurate applications will be rejected. – Reservation as per statutory rules. – Disqualification for ineligibility, incorrect information, incomplete documents at any stage. – No TA/DA for verification process. – Accommodation (shared bachelor) may be provided subject to availability. – 12 days casual leave & 15 days medical leave permitted. – Adherence to conduct, confidentiality and IP rights. Company reserves termination rights for absenteeism/misconduct/performance. |
| Application Process | Step 1: Register at NAPS (https://apprenticeshipindia.gov.in) for HR Executive/CSR/PR/ITI trades OR NATS (https://nats.education.gov.in) for Degree/Diploma Engineering. Complete and update profile with all documents. Step 2: Apply online via POWERGRID Careers: www.powergrid.in → Careers → Engagement of Apprentices → Apply Online. Only online mode accepted. – No application fee, written test or interview. – Applications shortlisted on merit, reservation applied. – Shortlisted candidates will be notified for document verification (email).
