🔸 Overview

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) released the official notification for the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Examination 2025 on 9 June 2025, under Advt. No./ F. No. HQ‑C11018/1/2025‑C‑1. This recruitment drive aims to fill approximately 14,582 vacancies across various Group B and C posts in different Central Government ministries and departments.

🧭 Vacancy Breakdown & Pay Scales

• Total Vacancies: 14,582 (tentative)
• Group B (Pay Level 7: ₹44,900–1,42,400):–
  Assistant Section Officer, Income Tax Inspector, Excise Inspector, Sub‑Inspector (CBI, NCB), etc.
• Group B (Pay Level 6: ₹35,400–1,12,400):–
  Executive Assistant, Research Assistant, Divisional Accountant, Junior Statistical Officer, etc.
• Group C (Pay Levels 4–5: ₹25,500–92,300):–
  Auditor, Accountant, Postal Assistant, Tax Assistant, UDC, etc.

🧾 Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
  • JSO: 60% in Maths at 12th or Statistics at degree level
  • Statistical Investigator Gr II: Statistics in all semesters
• Age Range: 18–27/30/32 years (varies by post), with relaxation: SC/ST +5 yrs, OBC +3 yrs, PwBD up to +15 yrs

💵 Application Fee

• ₹100 for General/OBC/EWS; SC/ST/Women/PwBD/ESM are exempt

🛠️ Selection Process

1. Tier I: CBT covering General Intelligence, Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, and English
2. Tier II: CBT (Paper I compulsory; Paper II only for JSO/Stat Investigator)
3. Skill Tests (where applicable): Data Entry Speed Test or Computer Proficiency
4. Document Verification & Medical Exam

Tier‑I is scheduled for 13–30 August, with Tier‑II around December 2025.

2. Log in and select Apply under “Combined Graduate Level Examination 2025”.
3. Fill out personal, educational, and centre-choice details; upload photo/signature.
4. Pay the fee online and submit before 4 July 2025 (23:00 hrs).
5. Correction window open 9–11 July 2025.
