Central Bank of India, a leading Public Sector Bank, with Pan India Branch Network of more than 4500 branches with total business of more than ₹7,05,000 crores, driven by a talented workforce of 32000+ employees, is looking for retired bank officers / Ex-Servicemen and/or others having experience in working in any Public Sector Banks / SBI (i.e., Central Bank of India / any other Public Sector Banks / SBI / RRB).

VACANCY DETAILS

Name of the Post: Counselor FLC Narmadapuram Betul

No. of Post: CHHINDWARA (1 Post) , PANDHURNA (1 Post) & BALAGHAT (1 Post)

Age: Above 45 years of age & should be less than 65 years, and should possess good health.

Qualification:
Essential:

• Shall be computer literate and proficient in basic knowledge of MS Office, internet, and typing in the local language.

• Must be a Graduate in any discipline from a recognized university.

Experience/ Other eligibility criteria.:
Essential:

1. Retired/VRS opted Bank officials of Scale I & above of Nationalized Banks, including State Bank of India & RRBs, preferred.

OR

2. Ex-Servicemen and/or others (e.g., Government School Teachers, etc.) having banking knowledge and knowledge of financial services, and having completed the relevant IIBF certification course.
3. He should have an unblemished service record and possess a service certificate from the previous employer. Minimum 10 years of experience as an officer/permanent employee.

(ii) He should be a resident of the same state, preferably the same or nearby district.

(iv) Excellent communication skills in the local language are essential.

CONTRACT PERIOD, AMOUNT AND OTHER TRAVELLING EXPENSES:

The candidate shall be appointed on a contract basis for a period of one year. Renewal may be possible at the Bank’s sole discretion, in terms of extant policies and rules.

CONTRACT AMOUNT AND OTHER TRAVELLING EXPENSES:

The contract amount shall be paid as an amount equivalent to the last pay & allowances drawn less the initial amount of pension fixed before commutation plus relief, etc., payable thereon, or ₹25,000/- per month, whichever is lower. Further, a lump sum amount of ₹1,000/- per month shall be paid towards mobile, conveyance, etc. However, the condition of “Last Pay & Allowances drawn less the initial amount of pension fixed before commutation plus relief” will be applicable only to pension-co-opted retired bank officials of a Nationalized Bank. In case of non-pensioners, the candidate will be eligible only for ₹25,000/- per month together with a lump sum amount of ₹1,000/- towards mobile, conveyance, etc.
Please note that no other allowances/benefits/reimbursement of expenses/charges will be admissible.

LEAVE:

The candidate shall be entitled to 15 days of leave per year with a maximum of 02 days per month.

JOB PROFILE:

These officers shall be working as “Counselor – FLCs” and have to oversee the overall functioning of FLCC.

SELECTION PROCEDURE:

The eligible candidates will be called for a personal interview, and the decision of the Bank in this regard shall be final.

(b) In case of suitable and deserving cases, any of the requirements and conditions of eligibility mentioned above may be relaxed at the discretion of the Management.
The Management reserves the right to fill or not to fill the above advertised position without assigning any reason thereof.

(c) Mere admission of application against the advertisement and apparently fulfilling the criteria as prescribed in the advertisement would not bestow on him/her the right to be called for interview.
