The online examination (Preliminary and Main) for the upcoming Common Recruitment Process (CRP) for Recruitment and Selection of Personnel for Probationary Officer/ Management Trainee (PO/MT) posts in the Participating Public Sector Banks will be conducted by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) as per the tentative schedule provided below :

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualifications:
A candidate is eligible for the IBPS PO 2025 exam only if they satisfy at least one of the following nationality/citizenship criteria:
A candidate must be either:
A Person of Indian Origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
A candidate must be either:
- AÂ Citizen of India,
or - AÂ subject of Nepal,
or - AÂ subject of Bhutan,
or - A Tibetan Refugee who came to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India,
or - A Person of Indian Origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
Age Criteria:
Here’s the age eligibility and relaxation details for IBPS PO 2025:
Age Limit (As on 01.07.2025):
- Minimum Age:Â 20 years
- Maximum Age:Â 30 years
That means a candidate must have been born not earlier than 02.07.1995 and not later than 01.07.2005 (both dates inclusive).
Relaxation of Upper Age Limit:
- Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe (SC/ST):Â 5 years
- Other Backward Classes (Non-Creamy Layer):Â 3 years
- Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (as per the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016):Â 10 years
- Ex-Servicemen, Commissioned Officers, Emergency Commissioned Officers (ECOs), Short Service Commissioned Officers (SSCOs)Â who have rendered at least 5 years of military service and have been released on completion of assignment (including those whose assignment is to end within one year from the last date of application), other than by dismissal, discharge due to misconduct, inefficiency, or physical disability attributable to military service, or invalidment:Â 5 years
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS (As on 21.07.2025):
A Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a University recognised by the Govt. Of India or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government. The candidate must possess valid Mark-sheet / Degree Certificate that he/ she is a graduate on the day he / she registers and indicate the percentage of marks obtained in Graduation while registering online.
CREDIT HISTORY:
(i) The candidate applying shall ensure that, they maintain a healthy Credit history at the time of joining the Participating Banks. The minimum credit score will be as per the policy of Participating Banks, amended from time to time.
(ii) Those candidates whose CIBIL or other similar agencies has not been updated before the date of joining, have to either get the status updated or produce the NOCs from lender to the effect that there is no outstanding with respect to the accounts adversely reflected in the report, failing which the letter of offer may be withdrawn / cancelled. The final discretion in this regard remains with the allotted Bank.
NOTE:
(1) This clause does not apply to the candidates with no Bank account.
(2) This requirement is not a pre-condition to apply.
APPLICATION FEES & INTIMATION CHARGES
Application Fees/ Intimation Charges [Payable from 01.07.2025 to 21.07.2025 (Only online payment), both dates inclusive] shall be as follows:
- Rs. 175/- (inclusive of GST) for SC/ST/PwBD candidates.
- Rs. 850 /- (inclusive of GST) for all others.
Bank Transaction charges for Online Payment of application fees/ intimation charges will have to be borne by the candidate
