Position: Physiotherapist (Contractual Basis)

Location: Zonal Office, Jaipur (30-31 Mohan Tower, Prince Road, Vidhyut Nagar, Ajmer Road, Jaipur – 302021)
1. Basic Qualification
- The applicant should possess Bachelor or Master’s degree in Physiotherapy of any recognized University.
- Applicants having post graduate degree in Physiotherapy will be given preference.
2. Experience
The applicant should have a minimum of 02 years of experience in any hospital or clinic as a Physiotherapist.
3. Working days & Hours
- Working days: Any 02 working days per week as decided by appointing authority as per convenience of staff.
- Working hours: 2 hours per day.
4. Period of Contract
Initially the period of contract shall be for two years. The performance of the Physiotherapist will be reviewed by Bank before expiry of the contract period and same may be extended by two years on retainer-ship basis after each such term if found satisfactory.
5. Termination of Contract
The contract is terminable with two months’ notice from either side.
6. Remuneration
7200 per month * (A2HRS2DAYS*4WEEKS) (Maximum capping limit)

9. Job Role & Responsibilities
- Assessing the staff’s physical, communication and cognitive skills to develop a treatment plan.
- Giving advice and providing support for family members of staff and Carers.
- Helping staff to take part in everyday activities based on their unique circumstances.
- Assisting staff’s exercise for pain relief.
- Reviewing the staff’s progress and adapting the treatment accordingly.
- Performing administrative tasks such as keeping records, writing reports and making telephone calls.
- Implementing physical and psychological assessments of the staff and indicating treatment plan using a variety of methods.
- Assessing the staff’s home and work environments and makes necessary adjustments if needed.
- Advising on what equipment would suit the patient for their everyday activities and help them utilize the same.
- Developing physical rehabilitation programs to help patients regain lost fine motor skills.
- Establishing physical rehabilitation programs to help patients regain lost skills and prepare them to return to normal life.
- Evaluating staff’s condition regarding physical health as well as establishing goals that Physiotherapy will treat and adjust programs based on patient’s needs and skills.
- Administering staff care in compliance with agency policy, law and regulation, and according to the guidelines as provided in Physiotherapy related Act and procedures and scope of care.
- Ensuring continued competence and updated field knowledge.
10. Procedure for Selection
- Applications received will be scrutinized by Bank.
- Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview by email. Based on the interview, final selection will be done for engagement to the post of Physiotherapist on contractual basis.
- Engagement letter will be sent to the selected candidate by email.
- If selected candidate refuses or does not accept the offer of engagement within stipulated timeline, next candidate from waiting list as per interview marks (in highest to lowest order) would be offered the engagement and like-wise.
11. Other Conditions
a. Physiotherapist will have to make arrangement of a suitable substitute at his/her own cost acceptable to the Bank in case of continuous absence for more than two days.
b. Physiotherapist shall not be eligible for any benefit as available to Part-Time/ Full-Time employees of the Bank i.e. they will not be eligible for leave, leave fare concession, Provident Fund, Gratuity or any other terminal benefit, Bonus, Reimbursement of Medical expenses, Brief case, Newspaper etc.
c. The engagement under the contract is temporary. No claim shall be made for regular employment on that basis at any stage or for pay and perks payable to regular employees.
d. The Bank reserves the right to review the rate of remuneration from time to time and alter the duty hours and location at its discretion in case it becomes expedient to suit administrative and operative requirements.
e. Any dispute arising on account of the contract shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Courts of the respective state/place where Zonal Office is located.
f. Physiotherapist shall maintain the strictest secrecy regarding the Bank’s affairs and the affairs of its constituents and shall not divulge, directly or indirectly, any information of a confidential nature either to a member of the public or of the Bank’s Staff, unless compelled to do so by judicial or other authority, or unless instructed to do so by a superior officer in the discharge of his duties.
g. Physiotherapist shall serve the Bank honestly and faithfully and shall use his/ her utmost endeavour to promote the interests of the Bank and shall show courtesy and attention in all transactions.
h. Physiotherapist shall not indulge in any act of sexual harassment of any individual at workplace.
i. The contract is liable to be terminated if the Physiotherapist is arrested for debtor on a criminal charge or is detained in pursuance of any process of law.
j. The Bank reserves the right to raise the minimum eligibility standards etc. in order to limit the number of candidates to be called for interview. The decision of the Bank in this regard shall be final. The Bank will not entertain any correspondence with the applicants who have not been called for the interview.
k. Physiotherapist shall have to bring his/her own basic equipments to Bank that may be necessary for carrying out treatment of staff.
