Bank of Baroda Recruitment 2025 – Senior Manager (AVP-I) Bullion
Bank of Baroda has released an official notification for the recruitment of experienced professionals on a fixed-term contractual basis for its International Banking Department. The Bank invites applications for the role of Senior Manager (Assistant Vice President – I) Bullion, offering an excellent career opportunity for candidates with specialized expertise in bullion operations and trading.

Details of the Post
- Position: Senior Manager (AVP-I) – Bullion
- Vacancy: 1 Post
- Age Limit (as on 01.08.2025): Minimum 24 years and Maximum 34 years
- Educational Qualification:
- Mandatory: Graduate degree in Commerce, Economics, Finance, or Business Administration
- Preferred: CA, CFA, or MBA in Finance
- Post Qualification Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in bullion operations during the last 5 years
- At least 1 year of front-end trading experience with one or more of the following:
- Bullion trading & clearing entities
- Bullion desks of banks
- Global commodity & trading houses
- Bullion procurement departments of jewellery conglomerates
- Exchange-authorized bullion brokers
- Exchange-registered bullion trading cum clearing members
- Recognized refiners
- Vaulting and logistics companies
Roles and Responsibilities
The Senior Manager will play a pivotal role in setting up and managing the bullion desk. Key responsibilities include designing operational frameworks, establishing risk management systems, creating SOPs for trading, logistics, and compliance, and coordinating IT integration. The role involves executing trades, managing pricing and inventory, ensuring regulatory compliance, overseeing vaulting and logistics, and preparing MIS and strategic reports. The candidate must possess strong knowledge of bullion markets, settlement systems, procurement processes, hedging mechanisms, accounting principles, and KYC/AML/CFT regulations.
Remuneration and Posting
The remuneration will be determined based on the candidate’s qualifications, experience, suitability, last drawn salary, and prevailing market benchmarks. The initial posting will be in Gandhinagar; however, the selected candidate must be willing to serve anywhere in India as per Bank’s requirements.
Nature of Engagement
The appointment will be on a contractual basis for a period of five years, extendable subject to satisfactory performance, with the maximum contract period not exceeding ten years. The contract will end upon reaching the maximum age of 60 years or at the end of the fixed term, whichever is earlier.

- SC, ST, PWD, Ex-servicemen, and Women candidates: ₹175 (inclusive of GST and charges)
Selection Process
Selection will be based on shortlisting followed by a Personal Interview or any other selection process as decided by the Bank. Only the most suitable candidates will be called for interview, and fulfilling the eligibility criteria does not guarantee selection.
