Bank of Baroda invites online applications from Indian citizens for engagement as apprentices under the Apprentices Act 1961 (as amended from time to time).
About the Apprenticeship
This program offers 12 months of on-the-job training, designed to help candidates understand the functioning of bank branches, customer interaction, financial product knowledge, and day-to-day banking operations. This is not a regular or contractual job with Bank of Baroda. Apprentices will be treated strictly as trainees and will not be entitled to employee benefits or permanent employment after completion.
Total Vacancies – 2700 Seats Across India
A total of 2700 apprenticeship seats are available across multiple States and Union Territories. Reservations for SC, ST, OBC, EWS, and PwBD candidates are applicable as per Government of India norms.
Candidates may apply for only one State/UT and must choose up to three preferred training locations within that State. Seat allotment will be based on merit, preferences, and availability.
Eligibility Criteria (as on 01 November 2025)
Age Limit:-
- Minimum: 20 years
- Maximum: 28 years
Relaxation in the upper age limit applies for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates as per government guidelines.
Educational Qualification
- A graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
- For candidates registered under NATS, the graduation year should not be older than 4 years from the cutoff date.
Additional Requirements
- Must be registered on government apprenticeship portals (NATS and/or NAPS).
- Should not have previously undergone apprenticeship in any organization.
- Should not currently be undergoing apprenticeship training.
- Those with one year or more of job or training experience after graduation are not eligible.
Selection Process
The selection procedure includes:
- Online Written Examination
- Document Verification
- Local Language Proficiency Tes
Stipend
- Apprentices will receive a monthly stipend of ₹15,000 throughout the 12-month training period.
- No additional allowances or employee benefits will be provided.
How to Apply
Step 1: Register on Apprenticeship Portals
Candidates must register on:
- NATS portal
- NAPS portal
During registration, candidates need to upload scanned copies of essential documents including Aadhaar, PAN, photos, educational certificates, signatures, and bank details.
Step 2: Apply for Bank of Baroda Apprenticeship
After registration:
- Search for “Bank of Baroda” apprenticeship opportunity on NATS/NAPS.
- Submit your request for apprenticeship through the portal.
- Eligible applicants will receive an email prompting them to fill the Application cum Examination Form and submit required details.
Step 3: Pay Application Fees

Payment must be made online only.
Training Locations
Training seats are distributed across States and Union Territories, including Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Delhi, Gujarat, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, and many more.
Candidates must choose three preferred centers within their chosen State during application.

- Submission of incorrect or false information may lead to rejection or legal action.
- The apprenticeship does not guarantee a job with Bank of Baroda.
