Scale of Pay:
(Level 10) Rs. 57,700 – Rs. 1,82,400 plus other allowances as admissible under Rules.
Qualification:
The qualification shall be as per the UGC Notification No. F.1-2/2017(EC/PS) dated 18th July, 2018 and UGC guidelines issued from time to time.
Note: Candidates who have done Ph.D. after the Bachelor’s Degree from institution of National importance with GATE/CEED shall be eligible for the post of Assistant Professor.
Age:
The candidate should not be less than 21 years of age and not more than 38 years of age as on 01-01-2025
The upper age limit is relaxable up to:
(i) 5 (five) years for SC/STP/STH candidates i.e. up to 43 years.
(ii) 3 (three) years for OBC/ MOBC candidates i.e. up to 41 years and
(iii) 10 (ten) years for Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD) candidates i.e. up to 48 years irrespective of SC/ST/OBC and General Category candidates.
(iv) For Ex-servicemen: The maximum age limit for entry into Government services for Grade-I and Grade-II posts in respect of Ex-servicemen shall be relaxed up to 50(fifty) years for un-reserved category:
- Provided that the upper age limit in respect of Ex-servicemen who belongs to Other Backward Classes or More Other Backward Classes shall be relaxed by 3 (three) years over their general age limit of 50(fifty) years i.e. up to 53 (fifty three) years.
- Provided that the upper age limit in respect of Ex-servicemen who belongs to the Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribes shall be relaxed by a further age relaxation of five years over their general age limit of 50 (fifty) years i.e. up to 55 (fifty-five) years.
PROCESS OF RECRUITMENT:
The Recruitment process will comprise of
(i) OMR-MCQ based Written Examination – 75 Marks
(ii) Teaching Proficiency Test – 25 Marks
The OMR_MCQ based question Paper/Booklets shall contain 75 questions carrying 1(one) mark for each correct answer. There will be negative marking of 0.25 (one –fourth) marks for wrong answer against each question. Only shortlisted candidate will be called for Teaching Proficiency Test.
