Sainik School Goalpara, a premier residential public school under the Ministry of Defence, Government of India, affiliated with CBSE New Delhi, has released Advertisement No. 06/2025 dated 22 July 2025 for filling up multiple academic and administrative positions. The vacancies are available on both regular and contractual basis, offering a golden opportunity for eligible candidates to contribute to one of the most reputed educational institutions in Assam.

Available Vacancies

The school invites applications for the following posts:

1. Quarter Master (Regular, UR) – 01 Post
2. TGT Social Science (Contractual, OBC) – 01 Post
3. TGT Mathematics (Contractual, UR) – 01 Post
4. Lower Division Clerk (Contractual, UR) – 01 Post
5. PEM/PTI cum Matron (Female, Contractual, UR) – 01 Post
6. Matron (Female, Contractual, UR) – 01 Post
7. Ward Boy (Contractual, SC-01, UR-01) – 02 Posts

Educational Qualifications & Eligibility

• Quarter Master: Graduate in Arts or Commerce with minimum five years’ experience as UDC Stores/Quarter Master or an Ex-Serviceman JCO with relevant store-handling experience. Desirable qualifications include knowledge of computer applications, fire & disaster management, inventory management, and GeM procurement.
• TGT (Social Science & Mathematics): Graduate with relevant subjects along with a recognized B.Ed. degree or B.A.Ed. Preference will be given to candidates with higher qualifications, CTET/STET clearance, English proficiency, teaching experience, and skills in sports, IT, or cultural activities.
• LDC: Matriculation with a minimum typing speed of 40 wpm and proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Internet. Knowledge of shorthand will be considered an additional qualification.
• PEM/PTI cum Matron: Diploma in Physical Education with multilingual communication ability (Assamese, Hindi & English). Candidates with B.P.Ed., NCC certification, and residential school experience will be preferred.
• Matron/Ward Boy: Matriculation with good English communication. Preference will be given to graduates, candidates with achievements in sports/arts/music, and prior experience handling children with care.

Age & Pay

• Quarter Master: 18–50 years; Pay Level 5 (Rs. 29,200 + allowances as per 7th CPC).
• TGTs: 21–35 years; Consolidated Pay Rs. 44,900/- per month.
• LDC: 18–50 years; Rs. 21,000/- per month.
• PTI cum Matron: 18–50 years; Rs. 21,000/- per month.
• Matron/Ward Boy: 18–50 years; Rs. 18,000/- per month.
  Accommodation and mess facilities will be provided as applicable.

Selection Process

Candidates will undergo Written Test, Skill/Demonstration Test, and Interview depending on the post. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the selection process. No TA/DA will be admissible. Applicants must be prepared to stay for an additional day at their own expense if required.
