Office of the District & Sessions Judge, Kamrup (M) Guwahati Recruitment 2025-

**Applications are to be submitted to the to the Office of the District & Sessions Judge, Kamrup(M), Guwahati, Panbazar, near Dighali Pukhuri, Cotton College Road, Pincode-781001.

Applications are invited from the eligible candidates, who are citizens of India as defined in Article 5 and 6 of the Constitution of India, in Standard Form as published in Part-IX of the Assam Gazette, for the following posts in the establishment of the District & Sessions Judge, Kamrup(M), Guwahati.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

Peon:

• The candidates must possess the minimum educational qualification of Class VIII standard passed, and those who have passed HSSLC or above shall not be eligible to apply for the said posts.
• Candidates applying for the post of Driver shall submit a copy of valid Driving License of four wheelers.

Driver:

• Must possess the minimum educational qualification of Class X (HSLC) standard form a recognised board.
• Must possess a valid LMV driving license issued by competent authority.

Process Server:

• Must be a graduate in any discipline.
• Must have knowledge in official language of Assam (Assamese).

SELECTION PROCESS:

The selection process will be notified in due course of time. The candidates shall check the Notice Board as well the official website of Kamrup(M) District Judiciary https://kamrupmetro.dcourts.gov.in/ for further updates.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

i) Candidates must submit relevant testimonials/certificates and 4 (four) recent passport sized photographs along with the application. However, candidates have to produce their original testimonials regarding educational qualifications, date of birth, caste, working experience etc. at subsequent stages when asked for.

ii) In appropriate cases, relaxation of age will be admissible as per the existing rules of the Government of Assam. Age will be counted as on 01.01.2025.

iii) The list of provisional candidates will be published in the official website of Kamrup(M) District Judiciary https://kamrupmetro.dcourts.gov.in, for the candidates’ reference.

iv) Candidates who are already in Government Service (Central/State or PSU) may apply through proper channel. They shall have to produce “No Objection Certificate” from the present employer along with the application form.

v) Application form which is incomplete in any respect, such as, without photograph, signature and valid mobile number, is liable to be rejected summarily.

vi) Candidates applying for the post of Peon and Driver shall submit a self declaration stating about their educational qualification having qualified Class VIII standard passed and that they do possess qualification of HSSLC passed and above.

vii) Information submitted by an applicant in his/her application will be binding on the candidate and if found to be false, his/her candidature will be cancelled forthwith and he/she shall be liable for criminal prosecution.

viii) The candidate will be responsible for any mistake made by him/her in the application form and this office shall not be responsible or liable in any way.

ix) If any candidate is found canvassing directly or indirectly, his/her candidature will be rejected.

x) The Office of the District & Sessions Judge, Kamrup(M), Guwahati, reserves the right to cancel, alter or modify the advertisement or other terms and conditions of the advertisement without any prior notice.

xi) The applications are to be submitted to the Office of the District & Sessions Judge, Kamrup(M), Guwahati, Panbazar, near Dighali Pukhuri, Cotton College Road, Pincode-781001.

xii) All other matters which are not specifically provided in this advertisement shall be decided by the Office of the District & Sessions Judge, Kamrup(M), Guwahati.
