Prasar Bharati invites applications from fresh and dynamic individuals for engagement as Technical Interns on a full-time contractual basis at Akashvani & Doordarshan Kendras under its South Zone, East Zone, West Zone, North Zone, North East Zone, New Delhi Prasar Bharati.

📌 Vacancy Details:

• Positions / Category: Technical Interns
• Place of Work: Akashvani & DD Kendras, South Zone, Prasar Bharati (as detailed in the Annexure)
• Duration of Engagement: 1 Year
• Age Limit: Not exceeding 30 years as on the last date of submission of application
• Consolidated Stipend: ₹25,000 per month
• No. of Positions: Zone-wise No. of Positions

🎓 Essential Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering in relevant streams such as Electronics, Telecommunication, Electrical, Civil, IT or Computer Science from a Government-recognized university/institution (approved by AICTE/UGC) with a minimum of 65% marks in relevant stream.
• Fresh graduates/postgraduates or those who have completed their degree in the academic year 2024-25 are eligible.
• Candidates awaiting final results may apply with a certificate from the Head of the Institution, subject to fulfillment of the minimum marks criteria upon declaration of results.

🔧 Nature of Duties:

• Assist in installation, operation, and maintenance of broadcast and IT equipment in Radio/TV stations, including studios, OB vans, and transmission sites.
• Support daily technical operations such as signal monitoring, fault detection, live telecast support, uplink/downlink operations, and equipment troubleshooting.
• Work with teams on technical planning for infrastructure development, studio upgrades, and Civil/Electrical maintenance.
• Assist in digital archiving, server management, and software/hardware troubleshooting under IT operations.
• Provide technical support for outdoor broadcasts, recce visits, and special live events as assigned.

📄 Terms and Conditions:

1. The person will be engaged on full time basis and will not be allowed to take up any other assignment during the period of contractual engagement.
2. Persons engaged on contract basis can be assigned additional tasks apart from the specific tasks for which they are engaged.
3. The engagement can be discontinued/terminated with one-month notice or one month’s salary in lieu thereof by either side without assigning any reason.
4. No claim of pensionary benefit on account of this contractual engagement shall be admissible.
5. Prasar Bharati reserves the right to conduct test and/or interview of the shortlisted candidates. No TA/DA etc. will be paid for attending the test/interview.
6. The number of positions may be reduced or increased at the time of final selection at the sole discretion of Prasar Bharati.
7. Candidates are requested to upload complete and clear copy of all requested documents. Else their candidature shall be rejected without any intimation.
8. Age and educational qualifications shall be considered as on the last date of submission of the application (inclusive).
